Voices for Community is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to serving our neighbors through compassion, action, and hope.
Founded by Pastor Floyd Johnson, Voices for Community has been making a difference for over a year, bringing hope and healing to those who need it most.
We are a dedicated team of volunteers and community advocates working tirelessly to address the most pressing issues facing our neighbors: homelessness, youth violence, mental health crises, addiction, and the safety of our elderly community members.
Our mission is simple but powerful: to transform lives through compassionate service, practical support, and unwavering commitment to building a community where everyone can thrive.
Comprehensive programs designed to meet the diverse needs of our community
Our First Choice project provides essential resources, shelter assistance, and pathways to stable housing for our homeless neighbors.
We help young people build careers, return to school, improve grades, and create a violence-free future filled with opportunity.
Immediate support and guidance for those experiencing mental health crises, connecting them with the right resources and care.
Helping individuals struggling with addiction find treatment programs and the support they need to reclaim their lives.
Protecting our senior community members from violence and ensuring they feel safe and supported at all times.
Bringing neighbors together through events, clean-up initiatives, and programs that strengthen our community bonds.
Making a tangible difference through dedicated community initiatives
Our flagship project dedicated to providing comprehensive support and resources for homeless individuals, including shelter assistance, job training, and pathways to permanent housing.
Our signature annual community event now in its 4th year, bringing together volunteers, families, and community members for a day of service, connection, and celebration.
We successfully organized and led the cleanup and restoration of Spring Grove Cemetery, transforming a neglected space into a place of dignity and respect.
Join us in building a stronger, safer, and more compassionate community for all.
